Lenses

I saw this particularly moving short film on Vimeo the next day. Yeah,  it was slick and cool, had nice animation and the cinematic were great. But, there are always people who will keep using technology for evil. See, in this video, how he hacked into he brain of this woman and ‘re-programmed’ her. Will future technology like this will be more dangerous than helpful? And  there is some chance as portrayed in this video that we will become more lazy; we will rather stay inside and turn ‘ON’ these glasses all day long than just go out sometimes and have some fresh air.

I, being a video gaming enthusiast, would love to say otherwise, but my skin has become too pale from staying inside alot.I rarely get to see the sky nowadays. I should go out every now and then; to keep things in balance.

Inspiration- just hit me!

Howdy fellow bloggers! Well, If you have been following my awesome awesome  blog till now then you mut know that an artist (hehe) I am, but I get the annoying ‘block‘ from inspiration a few times….. I make poor quality art when not inspired, as I dont put out all the emotions in my art then (as there is an absense of emotions/surreali-ty in art itself) …… though, when inspired; things get kinda awesome!

So, yeah, back to my story that how inspiration came? well, I was bored and annoyed (due to something.)  and just turned on the TuneMark app in my ipod and listened to an amazing song on Digitally Imported Radio: Vocal Trance….And

BAM!!!  Inspiration! To create a enchanting Oriental (japanese?) landscape scene on my canvas….. And this will be made with a knife instead of brushes… So the next time I post (probably tomorrow) I may have an awesome painting to share with you all! 🙂

Oh Yeah, I had almost forgot, here’s the song I listened to:

Byez!

This is how we roll!

The following video was just a sketch that I made during my ‘boring zone’ in OpenCanvas. Yeah, I use PaintToolSAi and OpenCanvas is very different for me. Hence, only a damn sketch.. But, if you interested (which you probably are) then, here’s the video of how a sketch was made in open canvas!

So, check that out! and the sketch is not a rought sketch, it’s a bit detailed..

As to Why OpenCanvas is Weird For me?

Well, as I started art using traditional mediums like oil paints, pencils and blah blah. So, when I started digital painting I used a software, namely PaintToolSAi; as this provided the same method of blending colors as oil paints. I.E. the colors merge. Phosotshop and OpenCanvas blend colors by overlapping opacities. This makes it too weird to blend colors for me and so, I only use Photoshop and OpenCanvas for photomanips and sketches.

So, to clarify, The blending in SAI:

And the blending in GIMP (which uses the same method as PhotoShop and OpenCanvas):

So there…. See you l8r!

The Minimalism of Trance…

I love Trance music. Especially Vocal Trance music. And this song has been stuck in my head throughout the day…. It’s so—so– minimal and ‘clean’ ( if you know what I mean) 🙂

This is how I roll! ( in trance music)

It’s from Ultra Music festival (in Miami i guess..?) and man is this the best remix of Sophie Ellis Bextor’s Not giving Up.. So here, enjoy!

I heard the original song too, and by far this version is awesome!

Ciao, see you all in about a few hours..

PS.
About Techno/Trance music, yeah many ppl say that trance is repetitive….but to me it sounds beautiful and minimal (and yeah sometimes I hate the too much repetitive songs…).Great to listen to when creating Art..
