The Waves

So, as you previously know that I had been practicing the art of foamy water and waves. If you haven’t seen that last one, just scroll abit down and BAM! the previoous post! ( ^_^ ) Anyways, here’s my latest one:- Image

And here are the close-ups of the awesome parts:- Image

And another one:-

Image

So there, I took me like…2+ hours to make this, mostly as I was abit slow and lazy that day   So I hope that you;ll like this one… 🙂

If you wanna know more, then here are the details as posted on my Google+ page https://plus.google.com/110691827763571631843

Created it for practicing foams and ‘wave structures’. To get an understanding of ‘waves’ I searched images for foamy waves on Google Image Search. Though, no image was used for tracing, or blended into this painting.  And no specific image is referenced.  So, how does it look? And what could improve it?

Just Done..

I’ve just done working on something big, and in my next post I shall show to you that what that ‘big’ thing was……. But first, a Snippet

Image

This is just a tiny part of the whole image… the image is done in black and white and describes a scene of a ‘lonely night’….

Hope you’ll still be here on to check that out…. 🙂

P.S

I completed BulletStorm for PC yesterday, and man was it a nice game.. Sure, it had a lot of glitches..but the overall idea of ‘skill-shots’ made this game a bit addicting……… I’m playing the ‘Echoes’ nowadays but Im sure I’ll be again bored after some time…so any suggestions for PC games I shall buy?

Haven’t played this game? Here’s a pic (from Google Images)Image

The Calming Waves

Hello, Im back after quite some time as the last few days were…unexpected and very hectic….So, now that im a bit free, so here’s an artwork of mine that I wanted to share with YOU!

Image

Titled The Beach, I made this one….like in February or something. This was the first time that I had practiced with the ‘sparkle’ effect in water (what ever it’s really called)…. So it’s not 100% accurate, but hehe is guess it’s okay for a start…Isn’t it?

So here are the details (from my Shadowness Page), as it had been on Shadowness for quite some time…..

Yay! Third in the series of impressionist waterscapes… :smile

^ Yes that is all!

I dont know what else to write   I ma n00b at wrting long posts…   Oh well/

So, Ciao!

Gothic…Stunning?

So it’s Monday (I guess…..no rly) …well what ever day it is… Im gonna share this piece of art that I made like 2-3 days ago…so here :

Image

So there, the following are the details (taken from my RedBubble Store) (Yes Store, and you can get all the prints of my artworks from there …..wont you? :3 )

Hi all! I hope you like this one. This is from my series of black and white steampunk/Gothic art. Her eyes are ‘exaggerated’ as they are stylized. Artists tend to give more attention to the eyes as humans look at eyes first and then the ‘face’. The stylization was done to give an increased sense of….visual beauty, so that if hung on a wall; It will be quite stunning and attention grabbing. Made only two colors, gray and white (absence of gray), I present to you, The Gothic Eyes.

So as I said above (cuz who would go through the ‘details’) …i made the eyes huge, so that it’ll look more awesome….and awesom-ify (if thats a word) the wall it’s hanging on….

So there…… Ciao

PS

Why the QR code? well scan it and it’ll take you direct to my store to buy the print……And get the damn print you shall! !!

PS II

I feel suddenly bored………..Why oh why?

The Surreal Emotions

Stay

Yes, just stay..thats what I titles my second artwork made in the same way as my previous artwork (the girl in the machines thingy)…. It starteed as a doodle (as all of my artwork pfft) ..and then it got pretty serious..I ended up created something that was in the back of my mind for quite some time. Draw art that defines the ‘feeling’ of robots and machines.. (and this all started when I first watched Tezuka’s Metroporisu, yeah, Tezuka, you awesome awesome dude!)…..So, here it is…….. Stay

Image

Haha, this time I wont copy the details from Shadowness, but do the opposite..yes, I have uploaded it here first.. Just for YOU ppl [not you, but youuuuu]

Details

I have had wanted to make an artwork that describes the feeling/emotions of robots. This was to much extend influenced by the films of the great person, Tezuka. Especially his film Metroporisu which is very special to me (and in the number 1 spot in my fav movie list) ^^. The artwork above describes a sad robot who has an arm missing, and is holding a balloon in his other hand ( or something) …. A cat then comes and sits with the robot, as it is curious of this machinery. So, the sad robot wants the cat to ‘Stay’ with him, and not go away, as it will then again be ‘lonely’ and sad..  The steampunk/monochrome style was used to compliment the feel/emotions in this scene by a great amount. Hope you like this one… 🙂

So there, and Reblog it if you like!  🙂

This image will be available on my Shadowness and my Redbubble Store shorty, so that you can buy a high quality (full reslution) print from there…

Ciao!

I Present, The Lady Steam-Punk

Hi all, what up folks!

The artwork that I described in the previous post (that I had started working on) had been complete for a day now. Sorry i forgot to upload it here (hehe), cuz yesterday I was so…busy in printing it out and getting my ass killed beaten in League of Legends due to a n00b team (ugh!). Damn you n00bies!

So, here it is, the one and only (Applause….or not); the (teh!) Lady Steam Punk [alternately named ‘In Dirt]

Image

So here’s the in-detail description from my Shadowness page_

Hi everyone! Sorry I have uploaded something after a while, due to my exams and all..hehe..but anyways, i started experimenting the last few days with black and white Gothic style ( steam-punk?) art. One reason being that I wanted something that I could print instantly and hang up on my wall (because I have a gray-scale laser-jet printer ..yet). So here, i started off to make something that looks gives us the surrealistic feel of technology, of machines and so. And so some extent, inspired by the art in the movie Metropolis ( Tezuka’s), I created this. It shows the ‘urban deterioration’ , the darkness, the dirt and congested machinery. It is what i describe as ‘The Beauty of Corruption’

Important

To get a full resolution print of it, visit my RedBubble store at http://www.redbubble.com/people/zodiarkdarkja, the image will be available there shortly. The font used for the title will change, as the font currently used is for personal use only…. Many thanks! [ So plz just get a damn print! ^^]

PS

I created another artwork in the way ‘way’ ….. I like that one alot too, as that one is kinda very emotional! (sob sob) ( “~”)  [hint, it has a robot]..

PS II

Oh darn, I’ll have to print it out again, as the old print incidentally got ‘folded’ ….

Ciao

This is how we roll!

The following video was just a sketch that I made during my ‘boring zone’ in OpenCanvas. Yeah, I use PaintToolSAi and OpenCanvas is very different for me. Hence, only a damn sketch.. But, if you interested (which you probably are) then, here’s the video of how a sketch was made in open canvas!

So, check that out! and the sketch is not a rought sketch, it’s a bit detailed..

As to Why OpenCanvas is Weird For me?

Well, as I started art using traditional mediums like oil paints, pencils and blah blah. So, when I started digital painting I used a software, namely PaintToolSAi; as this provided the same method of blending colors as oil paints. I.E. the colors merge. Phosotshop and OpenCanvas blend colors by overlapping opacities. This makes it too weird to blend colors for me and so, I only use Photoshop and OpenCanvas for photomanips and sketches.

So, to clarify, The blending in SAI:

And the blending in GIMP (which uses the same method as PhotoShop and OpenCanvas):

So there…. See you l8r!

Untangling the Mess!

Which means ‘Cleaning up my Room’ !

My room, which is rarely used by me, was a mess of old paintings laying here and there, books and stuff everywhere (yeah, teenagers! Pfft) , So, today I tried to clean my room and yay! Half of the cleaning is done..Just the dusting remains…..  Though, dusting is the scary part too cuz I have had like super-sensitive skin (when i was about 6-9 year of age) when it comes to dust… Too much dust, and skin turns red.. even now it’s also quite sensitive…           Gotta take a bath after this (obviously!)

Image

[I wish it were this simple, though i suppose the burnt furniture and blackened walls would go great with the ‘You Bet You Ass’ sign I did earlier]

Ciao! and see ya all l8r today, when I shall (hopefully) share the completed ‘stempunk’ style art with ya’all!

I’m Without Doubt! [ SteamPunk-ish Room Entrance]

Hi, today is Sunday! so, Hi Sunday! Ummm, so, Gothic Room Entrance Eh?

Yes Exactly!

For the past few days, this little sentence has been stuck on my tongue

You Bet Your Ass that […..]

And I have no idea that from where I picked it up. So,its no wonder that soon I got an idea that to ‘why not put a sign on my room that says’:

You Bet Your Ass It Is Ibrar’s Room

Yes , yes. I know it was a little stupid and silly; but this is what makes us who we are.. 🙂

So this is what I did, the image on the right was digitally created by me last month (during my exams..:( ), and the ‘Bet you Ass’ one was done-yesterday.

Image

And here’s how they look when printed and glued to my door:

Image

I burned the edges to give it more of a ‘gothic’ look ^^ hehe

So now I ask

Is it Awesome?

And oops, I just remembered that I have to sponsor AnimeArtSunday on G+ today too (and if you draw anime/manga artwork and are on G+ then do tell me and I’ll feature your artwork on Every Sunday!  “Yay!”) …^^

[You Bet Your Ass This is the End of the post.. But there may be another post coming up l8r today…!]

PS: The dude on the right resembles me….alot.. the nose is abit different. ^^ though, my hair really is like that…

The Icy Waves

Hello! It’s Saturday (i think) and it’s time for (  J-J-J JWOW ) sharing a (teh) digital waterscape painting I started (and completed) about 2 months ago… SO you may ask (or should be asking! )…. that hey buddy, why Waterscape?! Well, waterscape goes rly rly well with he impressionism (art style) [Monet, you awesome dude!] …and waterscape paintings really are very ‘flexible’ (that is, they can be modified and changed later  without redoing the whole image)..And when I can’t decide on what to make, then it’s time to make waterscape baby! yeah waterscape!

[Is it me, or is it really cold in here..shaking ]

Image

So how did I make this Digital Painting? Why?

Well here are the details (from my Shadowness page, again too lazy)

and yes! Like All My Paintings, I Didn’t Use Any References In This One Too

“I started making this about 2-3 days ago. (started with just just random digital brush strokes, then I though hey, lets make a giant Wave). I wanted to upload this yesterday, but then I got a bit ill (due to that weird weather thats here nowadays, an unfortunate mixture of clouds and viruses). Anyways..so here it is, the Giant Waves Digital Painting

So…Is it Awesome?”

And so I ask again, Is it awesome?

And if you really wanna check this painting out in a different page then here: http://shadowness.com/ZodiarkDarkja/the-giant-waves [I must admit Shadowness has that ‘cool’ factor]
